Helen

Helen's entrepreneurial odyssey began with a bold stroke of creativity when she founded Dragonfly Designs in 2006. Blending her expertise in Art History with a passion for sustainable practices, she revolutionized the art of screen printing. Helen's commitment to excellence and environmental stewardship has propelled Dragonfly Designs to the forefront of bespoke craftsmanship. Each eco-friendly creation serves as a testament to Helen's vision, leaving a positive impact on both the artistic landscape and the world at large.

Liesl

Meet Lies, a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in screen printing across various countries, joined Dragonfly Designs in 2023. She plays a pivotal role in the team's training, focusing on colour theory and operational techniques. Liesl's expertise spans auto preparations, artwork colour separation, digital mock-ups, and technical aspects of screen and block printing. With a background in textile design, she oversees print development at Dragonfly Designs.

Maggie

With her proficiency in colour mixing, frame preparation, and film exposure, Maggie plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of each print produced. Her unwavering enthusiasm make her an invaluable asset to Dragonfly Designs.

Peter

Peter brings over a decade of expertise in screen printing and colour mixing to Dragonfly Designs. Currently expanding his skills in screen exposure, his dedication to excellence and ongoing learning fuels the company’s innovation.

Benedict

Benedict Mwanzia is the administrative powerhouse, he is the driving force behind the seamless functioning of the company. His exceptional organizational skills & attention to detail ensure that administrative control runs smoothly.

Mwaka

As one of the first employees, Mwaka brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his role as the master printer. His mastery of screen printing techniques is evident in every stroke of the brush and every pull of the squeegee, resulting in vibrant and immaculate designs that captivate the eye.

Julius epitomizes hospitality at Dragonfly Designs, serving as the dedicated house manager who goes above and beyond to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients and staff alike.

Kyalo

Kyalo Francise is Dragonfly Designs trusted designated driver, overseeing pick-up and delivery, paint procurement, and staff carpool coordination. Embracing the team culture, he also assists with the curing process, showcasing his versatility and commitment.

Ones Muya

Ones Muya, a master printer at Dragonfly Designs for 18 years, initially started with fabric ironing and t-shirt preparation before advancing under mentors Helen & Mwaka’s guidance. Now proficient in exposing films, printing, and screen cleaning, Ones aspires to master color mixing.

Daniel

With dedication, Daniel plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency of the production line. Whether meticulously monitoring the curing process, Daniel’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence shine through in every task. His skillful contributions enhance the output of Dragonfly Designs.
