MEET THE MAKERS · NAIROBI, KENYA

Behind every print,
there are hands.

A close-knit studio of artisans, colourists and printmakers turning cloth into stories — one considered impression at a time.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE INK

We grow people.
Then craft grows
through them.

Welcome  to the heart and soul of Dragonfly Designs – the incredible individuals who make up our passionate team. With some of us having journeyed alongside the brand for over a decade, and collectively boasting over 25 years of experience in the intricate art of screen printing, we’re not just colleagues; we’re a family.

From humble beginnings, many of us have honed our craft from starting out cleaning screens, to mastering every facet of the screen printing process. Our warm and nurturing approach has allowed us to flourish, cultivating talents and skills that shine through every exquisite print we produce.

Get to know the talented Artisans who bring your visions to life with dedication, precision, expertise, and a whole lot of heart.

  • Retailers & corporate teams — reliable bespoke and branded collections
  • Partners across East Africa, America and Europe
OUR STUDIO, OUR ECOSYSTEM

Crafted under the
Nairobi sun.

Our garden studio uses solar panels, rainwater harvesting and an energy-efficient tunnel dryer. We source EU-standard pigments and reuse wooden screen frames — some for over 25 years.

COME AND MEET US

The studio is part
of the story.

Tucked away in the green of Karen, our working studio is where ideas, colour and craft meet. Visit us, bring a brief, or simply begin a conversation.

FROM FIRST SCREEN TO FINAL PRINT
LEARNING THE DRAGONFLY WAY

Craft is taught
shoulder to shoulder.

New team members begin by cleaning screens and preparing cloth. Responsibility grows with confidence, until an apprentice becomes a printer trusted with colour, registration and finish.
