The brief
You bring a motif, a colourway, a deadline. We talk through stock and run size.

Screen building
One screen is built for every colour in the pattern. Each screen is exposed and prepared by hand.

The pull
Each screen is pulled by hand and checked before the next pass begins.

Cured, cut and finished in the Nairobi studio, ready to ship by the metre.

The studio
Skilled hands, and a steady pull of ink.
Helen joined master screen printers Joseph Mwaka and Onesmas ‘Muya’ Mutunga in 2006. The print team works from a custom-built, low-impact studio filled with light, flatbed tables, silk screens and a rainbow of ink pots.
